easy like sunday morning…

[it was really more like,”easy like sunday ‘whole day'” but the cool reference to lionel would be lost and it would just take away from the sense of poetry in my day ;D]

so, what are the things that make for a good day?

today, i hung out with my sister and she and i tried a new restaurant featured in food network’s diners, drive-ins, & dives: the red wagon.  i was pretty excited to go because of its famed pulled pork pancakes…and of course, i had to try it!

i indulged in this breakfast because i knew i was going for a pretty decent 5k hike right after! (although, i don’t think i burned the calories from this awesome meal ;D).  as the pictures indicates (yup, i’m one of those folks, who isn’t nowadays!?), it would be hard to resist ordering this meal!  my sister had the croque madame and quite enjoyed it!

after breakfast, met with the boyfriend and the sister, the dog and i ventured off to mundy park where i got a few pretty awesome shots along this urban park!  it was overcast but it didn’t rain as expected so that made for an awesome hike too!

to end the day, the boyfriend and i went to the Canucks game (a team i love!) and they just so happen to win the game too!

i’d say i had a pretty good Sunday.  now if only tomorrow was another one too ;D

i .heart. autumn days…

one of my most favourite season of all is autumn.

although the rainy weather comes along with it, the days when it’s nice, dry, and crisp are what gets me by. i get to wear my beautiful scarves & cardigans, a stylish pair of boots, and finish it all off with a beautiful and warm jacket. with that, i’m ready to go outside to see the beautiful sights.

the changing colours of the trees and the fallen vibrant leaves are my most favourite features about this season.

i am fortunate enough to live in a beautiful neighbourhood and a beautiful city as a whole, that walking within it these days have given me just simply beautiful moments.

here’s just a few of my favourite…sights:

hello world!

sunrise in storey's beach - port hardy, bc (sese)

i have always wanted to start up a blog but was always held back by things that i thought took too much of my time. why now? well, i still have no time (whoever does really) but there are so many interesting things i keep seeing all around me (via the real world or the world wide web) that I just want to capture it all and share them with anyone and everyone…

here’s hoping i can keep up with it!

this blog will be about the awesome things i see, taste, hear, feel, want, need, like, love…

ps. i thank jmek (my sister) for encouraging me to get this going. i also thank all of the über creative people (of whom I know and don’t know) for creating beautiful things for me to like!
